The power of timely action

The difference between success and failure is marginal. Sometimes, a person who is talented, efficient, confident, and equipped with knowledge fails, even when others are expecting him to succeed. The reason is not will, not opportunity, not hesitation, but a slightly delayed decision. One can write his future when he takes the correct decision when it requires. And the best decision is just to act, because to do something, you need to do it.

You can understand it by an example: the success rate of a lion's attack in the wild is just 20-30%. A lion, the top predator of the jungle, attacks with the help of a pride, equipped with long canines and sharp paws, an experienced hunter, who has no other activity except hunting. Why does it happen? It happens because of a delayed decision. A lion waits to reach its prey until it is close enough to it. That fraction of a moment when a lion delays to charge is the decider moment

 Pakistan’s defeat and the cries of Pakistani experts

Pakistan in World Cup 2023

Afghanistan defeated Pakistan on 23.10.2023, in a World Cup match, on the pitch of Chennai. The defeat hurts Pakistan's campaign badly and it sets back Pakistan's hopes of qualifying for the Semi. Currently, Pakistan is at number 5 with 2 wins and 3 losses and a net run rate of -0.400.. 

The way forward for Pakistan

The next four matches of Pakistan are with South Africa, New Zealand, England and Bangladesh. To qualify for the Semi’s Pakistan has to win all these matches with a handsome margin because their net run rate is negative and also wait for the results of other teams. One more loss will end their campaign and with their current form, it looks impossible. 

The cry of Pakistan’s exports 

Yesterday, I was watching the reaction of Pakistan’s Public and expert’s reaction on YouTube. It surprised me as everybody was cursing the team. These were the same people who were on the seventh sky after the win over Sri Lanka. 

It is understandable that the people are connected highly with Cricket in the sub-continent, but the way they are cursing their team is scary. Now, the experts find loopholes in the team, the players and the management. 

What happens suddenly?

Pakistan is a country where one needs to show oneself religion to become a hero of the country. Often, this tendency backfires. 

Waqar Yunus the legendary fast bowler praises Rizwan not for their game against the Netherlands but for the Namaz he offered in the cricket ground of  Hyderabad, and he became the superhero after he dedicated his century to the Palestine residents. 

There is no problem with any of the religious behaviour of the problem until it hampers the game and it exactly happened in the case of Pakistan. Waqar Yunus praised the act by Saying “Rizwan Reading Namaz In Front Of Hindus Was Very Special”

It inserted religion into the game. The comment showed hatred against religion and it provoked the local spectators. It resulted in hooting against Rizwan in the Ahmedabad stadium. Pakistan which is dealing with different game-related problems adds one more problem in their kitty.  These are the same Indian spectators who are cheering Afghanistan in their every match which is a team of 100% Muslims. 

The act of Rizwan and the comment of Waqar Yunus diverted the focus of the team. Their game leaves behind and religion replaced it. It appeared in the cry of Mickey Arther which was another attempt for the same purpose. 

It is notable that it is the festival season in India. Most of the Indian players belong to Hinduism but they don't show their religious activity on the ground. Religion is a personal matter for them. To become a hero they don’t need their religion and this is the reason they are focused in their game. 

The same thing happens with the other team. Bangladesh and Afghanistan are the teams of Muslims. The players of the Netherlands, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, England and Sri Lanka never show the religious act on the ground to show their heroism. They chose games instead of religion to show it. 

Who are these experts?

Waqar Yunus, Sohail Tanveer, and the other Pakistan’s so-called experts are those who failed to show their mettle against India in the World Cup. Now they are criticizing the Pakistan team for letting down the country. They do not understand that it is a game, and here the best is to survive.  

As a country, Pakistan has failed to protect its citizens rights, human rights and the basic needs of the common people. This is the country where the minority lives in fear. The ruler and administrator find religion as a solution for every problem of the country. They use religion to fool their citizens, unfortunately, the same tactics are adopted by the players of Pakistan’s team.

But there is a cache in these tactics, a politician gets some years to be exposed but a player gets only one or two matches for the same.

Pakistan has some wonderful players like Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Imam ul Haq and a few are expected to be axed for this failure. But will this cure all problems? The answer is a big NO!.

Bhediya Movie released on 25th November: 

The Horror comedy genre is new to Bollywood but it is a well-established line of filmmaking in the south. Go Goa gone can be considered the first in the series and Stree was the first movie that can be regarded as a milestone. The same Amar Kaushik has brought Bhediya and he doesn’t disappoint in his effort. 

Plot: 

An ambitious contractor Bhaskar (Varun Dhavan) from Delhi goes to Arunachal Pradesh with his cousin Janardan (Abhishek Banarjee). He has to construct a road which is passing through a village ziro. His local friend Jomin (Paolin Kabak) is his supporter in his project and Mr Panda (Deepak Dobariyal) is a person who is morally against the cutting of forests. One night a Bhediya (wolf) bites the Bhaskar while returning from the forest. Bhaskar survives this attack but he feels changes in his personality. bad odour becomes the fragrance and fragrance becomes the bad odour for him.Jomin and Janardan take him to Doctor Anika, a veterinary doctor for treatment. Meanwhile, Panda reveals the story of Vishanu, a wolf and protector of the forest. It is believed that Vishanu kills those who try to harm the forest. Suddenly, people start dying in the mysterious attacks. Is this the act of Vishanu, or it is Bhaskar? Can Bhaskar complete his project? Can Dr Anika succeed to treat Bhaskar? To find the answer to these questions you have to watch the film. 

Direction and Photography: 

Before speaking anything about direction. I must appreciate the photography. Stunning scenes of forest, scenery and animal photography everything is above par. It is one of the main reasons for watching this movie. Now talking about the direction. Amar Kaushik has proved In Movie Stree that he can narrate the story with humour. He maintains this belief in this movie. There are many scenes in the movies which force you to laugh. He speaks wisely about racism, nature, and wildlife but you don’t feel it is a lecture. These things come automatically and naturally and his success is lying in the point that the audience enjoys these moments in the film. The film is two hours and thirty-six minutes long but he maintains the pace of the story. 

Story, screenplay and Music: 

The story is simple and you have got an idea about the climax in the first half, and it is the success of the screenplay that despite this simple story, the audience doesn’t feel bored. The screenplay is tight and the dialogue is crisp. Music can be considered the weakest point of the film. “Jungle me kand ho gaya: is the only song which is the only song you remember after the movie. 

Acting: 

Varun Dhawan shows his range after ‘Badlapur’ it is one of the movies which he uses for boasting. Abhishek Banarjee and Deepak Dobariyal show that they can be the next OTT star because of their natural acting. Kriti Senon gets less screen time and she does what is expected from her. 

Final verdict: 
The movie is a one-time watch and for one time a must-watch. I give three stars out of five for this movie. I deduct one star for a predictable storyline and one star for music.

The ant ant the grasshopper: Final chapter

Chameleon succeeded o suppress the voice of both 'The ant and the Grasshopper' but he failed to justify his decision in front of senior management.  The ant was unsatisfied but being not very vocal  by nature, she accepted the decision of management. She began to work with the same intention as she did previously. 

Grasshopper was always very vocal. This incident raised his level of voice. He started complaining both situations and the behavior of beetle towards the team in front of senior management. It diminished the image of both the Chameleon and beetle. Senior management felt that chameleon did not do the justice with person like Grasshopper who was very concerned with the team matter.

Chameleon also felt that he put his hand in the Fire. So he started damage control by appeasing grasshopper. He assigned some important responsibility to the grasshopper. 

Senior management felt that Grasshopper is the most important candidate of the team and he was able to handle the team responsibility. 

Gradually the grasshopper came in the good books of senior management. He was listened to carefully in meeting. It made him powerful enough that he dictate beetle, cockroach and even lizard too.

MORAL OF THE STORY: In fable it was an ant who won but in reality always grasshopper wins because grasshopper is vocal and in reality perception prevails.

The Boss advice

The meeting was on peak. The boss Lion was in full flow. He was teaching about the use of the latest technology in day to day work. For this, he showed a slide. This slide had pictures of Pagers, landline phone, audio cassette and other things like these. He wanted to say that as these instruments became extinct because of not updating timely as the employee using old methods became jobless. The boss lion left an impression in the meeting. Everybody was analysing own performance. Nobody wanted to consider as out of date. The boss lion summarised his speech at the end of the day. He reminded everyone to use the latest technology. Next day was the second day of the meeting. Boss lion continued the same tone the second day. He adviced and warned simultaneously to each to update themselves timely. The third day was the last day of the meeting. Marketing, performance and efforts were to analyse on this day. The boss lion began to annoy as soon as the marketing session started. His anger reached to peak when the performance session started. His patience was over when the efforts session started. He roared and said, "I observe that peoples are not serious. They have forgotten their early days. How did they work when they needed a job badly?" He instructed that everyone should work like their early days. Each one should focus on work despite concentrating on social media, mobiles and other distracting things. "Any Doubts?" The boss lion roared again. The fox raised her hand to asked something. "So, you have a problem. I know that only you have the problem." The boss lion said. "Ask!" "Sir! Should we follow old methods or update ourselves with new technologies?" The fox asked. The boss lion stared her angrily. The fox got her answer. Moral of the story: It doesn't matter whether you are old fashioned or up to date. You will get appreciation or not depends on the boss mood.

The Ant and the Grasshopper

The Beetle got the promotion. Both ant and the grasshopper were very annoyed. They couldn't bear the cheating which was done with them. They blasted on their immediate boss cockroach. Cockroach tried his best to admonish them but both of them became a rebel. Cockroach told this to his boss, the lizard. The lizard sent the strict message down the line telling them it was a management decision but both ant and the grasshopper were denied to obey this. The lizard understood that he could not be able to handle this. He sent the message to the chameleon, his boss. Chameleon took this matter very seriously. He ordered the lizard to call the meeting. The lizard sent this message to the cockroach. In the meeting, the chameleon asked a question, "Who has the problem with the promotion of the beetle?" The grasshopper raised his hand to say something. The Chameleon interrupted him and said, "Those who have any problem can resign and can join the company where they get the promotion." the grasshopper couldn't say next word. The Ant also thought about the EMI of Rs. 30000.00 which he had to pay every month. He couldn't afford to lose the job. And this way the boss chameleon succeeded to solve all problems in the team. MORAL OF THE STORY: The boss is always right and he cannot do any mistake. If he does any mistake, his subordinate is responsible for the mistake. Remember everyone has to pay EMI's and it is not possible without a salary.

The Boss's joke

The meeting was continuing. Boss lion was preaching corporate etiquette to his subordinate, the leopard, second line manager the cheetah, and front line manager the fox, the hyena, the wolf and the jackal. to keep his lecture interesting Boss lion added some joke. It created some giggling in the room. Fox was taught to keep calm and not to laugh in the meeting. So she was not laughing. Lion noted this. He assumed that the fox was not attentive in the meeting. He came to the fox and asked, "Don't you understand the joke?" The fox couldn't understand the intention of the lion. She became confused so she just saw the face of the lion. "Do you understand the joke?" lion asked again. "Ya! yes sir." confused fox answer. "My next question is are you in the meeting? You are not laughing on jokes! Be attentive and interactive in the meeting." The lion almost roared. After this, fox laughed on each joke. After that objection, the fox laughed on each joke of the lion. She didn't want to be noticed by the boss again. After the meeting. annoyed leopard called the boss of the fox, the cheetah. He warned him that he would not tolerate any indiscipline as shown by the fox in the meeting. He told him to teach etiquette to the fox and how to behave in the meeting. MORAL OF THE STORY: It doesn't matter whether you laugh on the joke of the boss or not if the boss wants to tight your screw he will find a reason.
